There are different techniques to remove localized fat by liposuction, but all are based on the same principle. A solution is infiltrated with serum, anesthesia and vasoconstrictors by means of an infiltration cannula into the subcutaneous tissue and immediately followed by liposuction with a suction cannula all localized excessive fat. Depending on the area being treated, the process will be carried out under local anesthesia and sedation or under general anesthesia.

→FIRST 48 HOURS:

According to the anesthesia indicated by the specialist, the intervention of liposuction with Agualipo will require or not 24-hour hospitalization. It will depend on the areas to be treated, the amount of fat to be extracted and the characteristics of each patient. Even so, you can travel immediately after hospital discharge.

→FIRST WEEK:

• The taking of anti-inflammatories and antibiotic therapy will be prescribed to prevent infections.
• Bruising and swelling may appear in the area, it is also not unusual that initially the tense and annoying areas are noticed, with some alterations in sensitivity

→FIRST MONTH:

• The results of Agualipo liposuction are immediately visible, although due to the inflammatory process of the body, they will not be definitive until at least 6 months after surgery.
•  It is essential to use a pressotherapy belt for at least the month after surgery.
• Tobacco interferes a lot in healing and affects the viability of the tissues by altering the blood microcirculation.
• You can return to work between the second day and two weeks later depending on the patient’s progress, but you should wait at least four weeks to return to intense exercise
