The Aqualift facelift, also called rhytidectomy, is the surgical procedure that aims to reposition the facial or cervical structures (SMAS superficial musculoaponeurotic system), which have fallen as a sign of aging. Faced with what many people believe, the word lifting does not mean stretching, but raising. The result of an Aqualift facial lifting is the elevation of the structures of the connective and muscular tissues, which may require combined procedures in some cases that involve the removal of excess skin (blepharoplasty), fillings with autologous material to give volume in atrophied areas (lipofilling ) or liposuction of the submental area. The degree of elasticity of the skin of the patient is an important factor in the results of the Aqualift lifting, so the most convenient age for a face lift is between 40 and 60 years, although it is possible to achieve satisfactory effects in people of older age depending on the characteristics of your skin.

Technique

Our Aqualift facelift technique consists of a minimally invasive variable of the traditional lifting method, in which we use the water assisted liposuction procedure (WAL) for the dissection of tissues (one of the essential steps of the facelift). Therefore, what we do is prepare the anatomical structures by means of hydrostraction with Body-jet. With Aqualift, bruising and inflammation are minor in a facelift.
